An initial meeting is scheduled in your home. It is a meeting for us to listen and ask questions so that we may understand what you want. If you do not have a set of drawings, we will provide an estimate for our drafting services. Once a drafting agreement has been approved, a set of preliminary plans are produced so that items can be priced.
Our job is to balance your "wish list" with your budget. We need to prioritize that list so that we can deliver the most for you while staying within your budget. Allowances are given for items which have not been selected at that time.
Once the blueprints have been agreed on, then a final cost can be given. We will provide a construction schedule and time line as well as a schedule for draw payments. The contract will then be signed and we will get started. We will be on site daily and will work out a schedule for meetings during construction.
The reality is that we will see you 2 or 3 times a week as you stop by for your daily tour. There will be items which we will need decisions on. We expect them to be made in a timely fashion to keep the project moving along. We respect you, and we will earn your respect. It is essential that both parties enjoy the process as we will be together for quite a while. We will have a final walk through to apply any cosmetic touch-ups and most importantly to educate you on the care and maintenance of your home.
Let's get started!
